19h concert Vishesh Kalimero

A free form exploration bringing together sounds from classical, folk and nature traditions from around Asia and presenting them in a contemporary form.

With training in North Indian Classical, Ottoman, Arabic music, Mongolian Throat singing and a little bit of this and that. Vishesh’s performances are beyond a solely musical performance but an immersive sonic experience , which invokes the memory of high mountain peaks, grasslands, bamboo groves, rivers and tropical forests. 

For the concert in La Vieille Chéchette Vishesh will be playing the Cretan Lyra with sympathetic strings(indo-greek custom instrument) & Kanjira (South Indian Percussion) accompanied with vocals.
