Pericles Makris (1994) has been making his own music since 2012, exploring the delicate moments of life, during his journeys across the European continent and its people. With songs and words, his new album Closure, deals with the topic of immigration in modern Europe through the eyes of the artist. Opening and closing ties, cultural alienation and discoveries whlie being the stranger again and again , searching for new homes in an ever changing and gentrificating world. Drawing inspiration from songwriting titans like Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan, James Taylor and Cat Stevens but also modern names, as Eddie Veder, Tallest Man on Earth, Sam Amidon among others, Closure delivers a storytelling journey across this continent’s land.
